Since 2020, our community has distributed more than $7 million to over 145 climate groups, backing the leaders turning bold ideas into real-world impact.

This EOFY, we're raising $80,000 to fund two additional grants before the end of the year.

  • Groundswell Giving is both a sub-fund of Australian Communities Foundation ABN 57967620066, as well a separate registered charity Groundswell Giving Ltd ABN 86 660 758 985.

    Here’s the breakdown:

    Australian Communities Foundation Fund is a tax deductible Trust Fund which holds and manages our members donations, issues tax deductible receipts, and makes grants on our instruction to charitable organisations endorsed by the ATO as having item 1 DGR (Deductible Gift Recipient) status.

    As we don’t take a fee from members donations, our operations are managed separately via our own charitable organisation Groundswell Giving Ltd, and supported by private donors in order to help grow climate philanthropy in Australia.

  • You bet! We are a sub-fund of Australian Communities Foundation, which is a tax deductible trust fund. ACF makes grants on our instruction to charitable organisations endorsed by the ATO as having item 1 DGR (Deductible Gift Recipient) status.

  • Go to your last receipt from Groundswell and click the 'manage my donation' button.

  • Email admin@groundswellgiving.org and we can help you cancel your membership.
