Major Giving Circle

Give at scale. Get closer to where change happens.

From $50,000 a year, you’ll join a small circle of individuals and families pooling their giving into a $1m+ grants fund, creating the capacity to make larger, more strategic grants to climate advocacy across Australia.

Groundswell brings deep climate networks, rigorous due diligence and up-to-date insight from experts and movement leaders. You can engage closely in the learning and grantmaking, helping shape where significant funding goes.

As a Major Giving Circle member, you’ll:

  • Make bigger things possible: pool your giving into a $1m+ fund capable of backing ambitious work at a scale that would be difficult to achieve alone.‍
  • Get closer to the work: hear directly from climate leaders and people on the ground about what’s changing, what’s needed and where opportunities are emerging.‍
  • See the bigger picture: understand the political, movement and funding landscape – and how different organisations and strategies work together to create change.‍
  • Help shape where funding goes: take part in briefings, deliberation and collective grantmaking, informed by deep expertise and intelligence from the field.‍
  • Learn alongside other funders: join a small community committed to thoughtful, ambitious climate philanthropy, sharing perspectives and becoming better funders together.

You can be closely involved in the learning and grantmaking, or participate more privately if that suits you better.
