1 Million Women is an Australian women-led climate organisation that helps women take practical action on climate change in their homes, communities and everyday lives.

This Groundswell grant supported 1 Million Women’s #SheVotes campaign to mobilise women around clean energy and household electrification during the election. The funding helped train up to 100 women as spokespeople, deliver targeted communications and social mobilisation, and support community outreach in key locations across Australia. The work aimed to turn women’s concern about climate and cost of living into visible public support for cleaner, more affordable energy solutions.
