CAHA are Australia’s peak body on climate change and health, with 45 health group members, including the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, the Public Health Association of Australia and the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation.
This grant supported the Climate and Health Alliance to mobilise health professionals and organisations around the health impacts of climate change. The funding helped grow its Climate Change is a Health Emergency campaign, support trusted health voices to speak publicly about climate action and strengthen a coalition of more than 50 health organisations advocating for change. The work helped turn growing concern about climate-related health impacts into coordinated advocacy, building pressure for stronger policy commitments to protect public health.
