Climate Justice Legal Project is a partnership between the Federation of Community Legal Centres, Environmental Justice Australia, and the Climate Council.
This grant supported the Climate Justice Legal Project to strengthen the legal response to climate impacts on communities already facing disadvantage. The funding helped train community lawyers to identify climate-related legal issues, build evidence about how climate harms are showing up in areas like housing, debt and disaster recovery, and pursue litigation and policy reform. The project also worked directly with affected communities, using legal advocacy to strengthen resilience, protect rights and push for fairer climate laws and services.
