Comms Declare
Comms Declare is a progressive force in promoting sustainable communication, dedicated to shifting the narrative around climate. At our core is our unwavering belief in the power of communications to create positive cultural change and shape a safer, healthier future for each of us and our planet.
This grant supported the Fossil Ad Ban campaign to build on successful local campaigns and push for stronger restrictions on fossil fuel advertising and sponsorships across Australia. The funding helped expand advocacy beyond councils, engage federal decision-makers and build momentum for national laws that would limit fossil fuel marketing. The work aims to reduce the industry’s ability to shape public perception through advertising and sponsorship, creating longer-term safeguards around how fossil fuel companies promote themselves.
