This Groundswell grant supported Grata Fund to advance Uncle Pabai and Uncle Paul’s Australian Climate Case and strengthen climate litigation more broadly. The funding helped support critical stages of the case, including expert evidence and closing arguments, while building the campaign around it and expanding Grata’s capacity to support other climate cases. The work used strategic litigation to challenge the Federal Government’s response to climate change and push for stronger, science-aligned action to protect communities facing severe climate harm.
