Green Music Australia (GMA) is harnessing the cultural influence of musicians to drive climate action.
This Groundswell grant supported Green Music Australia to harness the reach and influence of musicians to engage new audiences on climate action ahead of the federal election. The funding helped scale its No Music on a Dead Planet campaign, recruit and equip more artists, run festival and venue activations, and build a national media and digital campaign. The work used trusted cultural voices to reach beyond traditional climate audiences, counter misinformation and encourage more people, particularly younger voters, to engage with climate issues.

Your donation is pooled with others and directed to the people, organisations and communities helping drive climate progress across Australia.

Wherever we are in this country, we are on Country.
We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as Traditional Custodians, and pay our respects to Elders past and present.
We honour their enduring care for Country and the First Nations leadership our climate future depends on.
