Healthy Homes for Renters is a collaborative campaign working to make rental homes healthier, more affordable and more climate-resilient.

This Groundswell grant supported Healthy Homes for Renters to push for minimum energy efficiency standards in rental homes across Australia, with a particular focus on NSW. The funding helped run renter-led research, build public pressure around the health, cost and climate impacts of inefficient homes, and coordinate advocacy with partner organisations. The work aimed to make rental homes safer and cheaper to run, while cutting emissions and ensuring renters are not left behind in the energy transition.
