This Groundswell grant supported Jubilee Australia to strengthen the climate movement’s approach to critical minerals and responsible mining. The funding helped bring together climate, environment and Indigenous rights organisations, expand research into mineral supply chains and create spaces for groups with different perspectives to find common ground. The work aimed to support a renewable energy transition that protects communities and Country, while reducing the risk that tensions around mining are used to undermine public support for clean energy.
