Multicultural Leadership Initiative
The Multicultural Leadership Initiative is an Australian climate movement organisation focused on growing the leadership and participation of culturally and linguistically diverse communities in climate action.
This Groundswell grant supported the Multicultural Leadership Initiative to strengthen the participation and leadership of culturally and linguistically diverse communities in Australia’s climate movement. The funding helped research more effective climate messaging, build stronger networks and support systems for CALD leaders, and develop leadership, mentoring and coaching programs across the movement. The work also amplified stories of multicultural communities taking climate action, helping broaden who is represented, heard and supported in climate advocacy.
