Psychology for a Safe Climate

Psychology for a Safe Climate helps people navigate the emotional impacts of climate change. Through workshops, facilitated conversations, training and resources, it supports individuals and organisations to respond to climate anxiety, grief, burnout and overwhelm in healthy and constructive ways. Its work helps people stay connected, resilient and able to keep taking meaningful action on climate change.

Groundswell Grants
2026
$
15000

This Groundswell grant supported Psychology for a Safe Climate to help people working on climate change stay well, connected and effective for the long haul. The funding helped PSC continue programs that give climate workers space to process stress, grief and burnout, while supporting organisations to build healthier and more sustainable ways of working. By caring for the people behind climate action, PSC helps strengthen the movement’s ability to keep showing up for the work ahead.

Wherever we are in this country, we are on Country.

We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as Traditional Custodians, and pay our respects to Elders past and present.

We honour their enduring care for Country and the First Nations leadership our climate future depends on.
