Regen Labs is a place-based economic development organisation that works with communities to shape local economies around long-term social, environmental and economic benefit.
This Groundswell grant supported Regen Labs to develop a community-led model for data centre development in the NSW Southern Highlands. The funding helped bring together local communities, technical experts and policy partners to explore how new data centres could be powered by renewable energy, use water responsibly and deliver lasting local benefits. Starting in Moss Vale, the project aimed to give communities a stronger say in major infrastructure decisions while creating a model that could be adapted in other regions across Australia.

Wherever we are in this country, we are on Country.
We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as Traditional Custodians, and pay our respects to Elders past and present.
We honour their enduring care for Country and the First Nations leadership our climate future depends on.
