We connect people who give a sh*t with people who get sh*t done.
We have all the solutions we need to solve climate change and each of us can help build the political, social and corporate will to implement them at scale.
Groundswell pools donations from our members and makes strategic grants to effective climate action. The more members who join, the more climate action we can fund.
Members: Make regular donations and vote from a shortlist on which grants get funded
Groundswell: Pools member donations, manages and shortlists grant applications with support from climate experts, and facilitates voting rounds
Grantees: Apply for grant rounds and (if voted for) receive Groundswell funding for strategic climate action
Who we fund
We’re all about supporting high-impact, strategic climate action that is going to have an outsized impact when it most matters. Right now.
Because you can’t bank on one project to fix climate change, we fund and support an entire ecosystem to collectively work together.
Like Yael Stone who is driving not just an energy transition but a “human transition” on the NSW coal coast. Emma Pocock who is using the cultural institute of Australian sport to progress the national conversation about climate change towards more action. And Hollie Kerwin who is creatively looking at the law to find new ways to protect Australia’s natural wonders against fossil fuel mining.
